Alyn Scholarship Fund
Through Georgia’s Education Tax Credit program, taxpayers are able to pre-pay a portion of their state taxes and donate them to fund student scholarships at Georgia private schools like Screven Christian Academy.
This isn’t a “donation” in the traditional sense as it isn’t any extra money out of your pocket. It’s only the money you’re already going to pay in taxes. In exchange for contributions to Georgia Alyn, our partner Student Scholarship Organization, taxpayers receive a 100% Georgia income tax credit, you will help maximize this source of financial aid for deserving families desiring to receive a Screven Christian Academy education.

HOW TO CONTRIBUTE & TAKE THE TAX CREDIT for 2023:
1. Go to AlynFund.org & complete a donation request form through the Paperless
Donation Process.
2. The Alyn Scholarship Fund will submit your donor request to the GA Dept. of Revenue
for approval.
3. Once approved, you’ll have up to sixty (60) days to make the donation to the Alyn Scholarship Fund.
We appreciate the individuals and businesses that took the opportunity of the 2022 tax credit! Because of their efforts, SCA was able to give $29,800 in tuition scholarships to our students. It is now time to request those tax credits again for 2023. See the two flyers below for more information about the Alyn Scholarship Fund. The Education Tax Credit program opens on the first day of business each January and now has a statewide cap of $120 million. Once the cap is reached, no further donation requests are approved for that year.
In 2022, the $100 million cap was reached in only five months. Even though the annual fund cap will increase to $120 million in 2023, we anticipate that all of the tax credits will be claimed faster than last year. So apply today.
