Our Story
In more than 25 years of educating children, our mission has not changed. Screven Christian Academy, formerly Community Christian School, originated in 1996 when seven families of different denominations came together and identified the need for quality education from a Christian perspective. We are an interdenominational school and welcome the support of all Christians. Although the name has changed, Screven Christian Academy’s dedication to educating children in a Christian environment has remained constant. Screven Christian Academy is accredited with quality by the Georgia Accrediting Commission (GAC) and is a member of the Georgia Independent Athletic Association (GIAA). The school is governed by a seven-member Board of Trustees.
