Last night we celebrated our SCA athletes at the Athletic Awards! 🏅 We recognized students from Petite, Jr., and Sr. Cheer, Flag Football, Wrestling, Cross Country, Running Club, Competitive Golf, Fundamental Golf, and Sporting Clays. We are proud of their hard work, dedication, and the way they represent SCA both in competition and in character. One of the most meaningful honors of the evening is the Rick Smith Award, given to two student-athletes who demonstrate Christ-like character on and off the field. This award recognizes students who lead with integrity, humility, sportsmanship, and a commitment to honoring Christ in athletics, academics, and daily life. Congratulations to this year’s recipients: Cameron McNeely and Abbie McNeely. We are grateful for our coaches, families, and supporters who pour into these students and make these programs possible. Way to go, SCA Wildcats!💙💚

Reading Across America Week was such a fun celebration of books and imagination! Our North Campus enjoyed dress-up days like Hats Off to Reading, Sock It to Reading, and Cozy Up With a Good Book. Some of our upper school students also spent time reading and sharing books with lower school students, making the week even more special. Our South Campus wrapped up the week with a special Dr. Seuss Breakfast, complete with green eggs and ham! “The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go.” — Dr. Seuss We love watching our students discover the joy of reading and the many places a good book can take them!💙📚💚

Our 8th Grade Georgia History and 11th Grade Government/Economics students visited the Mighty Eighth Air Force Museum this week. As they studied World War II and the roles of our President and state, the exhibits brought their lessons to life and gave students a deeper appreciation for the courage and sacrifice of those who served.💙🇺🇸💚 “Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” John 15:13
